Organized Labor. Pro or Con?
Based on all 5 documents it is pretty easy to say that the working conditions were not getting much better. When ever the Labor Union, or Knights of Labor tried to make the working conditions better, it just ended with conflict, violence and in many cases death. Based on Document D, when unions tried to make working conditions better the business would just cut back on employees to save money. Based on document F all of the different forms of government and unions are just fighting over who says what and Document G just shows that fighting/striking for better working conditions just ended with deaths of the strikers and even just people who were watching the fights. To conclude I feel that organized labor was a short term failure and a long term victory, because Document A shows that over a period of about 20 years the pay went up and the hours went down for workers.

Anti- Mubarak protesters and Pro- Mubarak protesters
^ video of the violence between the Anti- Mubarak protesters and the pro- Mubarak protesters^
Based on a video on the BBC website, the pro Mubarak protesters are being extremely violent towards the anti- Mubarak protesters. The pro Mubarak protesters are attacking the other protesters on sight, chasing them down on horse back, bringing weapons and throwing stones and sticks at them. So far to what i have seen alone without much information on Mubarak, i would have to side with the anti- Mubarak protesters because if the pro-Mubarak are the type of people that agree with Mubarak and like what he is doing, then they should not be running a country. Especially a country with such close ties to the USA should allow its civilians the right to say what they think is right.
